The 2025 Texas Peer Mentorship Program is a one-on-one mentorship initiative designed to elevate the careers of Mental Health, Recovery Support, and Reentry Peers across Texas. This program is committed to enhancing the knowledge, skills, and confidence of participants through personalized guidance, skill-building, and ongoing support from experienced mentors.

Program Goals

  • Empower Peers to advance their careers and achieve professional growth.

  • Enhance essential skills such as communication, leadership, and trauma-informed care.

  • Foster resilience, work-life balance, and sustainable practices to prevent burnout.

  • Promote ethical practices and professionalism in peer support services.     

Program Structure

One-on-One Mentorship: Participants will be paired with experienced mentors who will provide personalized support, guidance, and feedback.

Skill Development Sessions: Mentorship will cover a wide range of critical skills, including but not limited to:
